What a fun reception! One of the many reasons I love receptions is all the fun dancing. I am always so entertained, and this wedding had some fun people and great dancing (even a little "Thriller" action).
But my favorite part may have been the mariachis. They were awesome....and I know mariachis. Being from San Antonio and attending more than a million Fiesta events (as well as eating Mexican food regularly), I've been exposed to more than a few mariachi bands. This one was by far my favorite!
And I love that they were the (Canadian) groom's request :)

And now for the ceremony of this cute couple....

Still to come.....the reception!
....because I like to torture my followers and spread this out over several days. Or maybe it's just that nap time at my house ended too soon and I had to wrap it up....boo. The rest will have to wait!

First of all, Happy Canada Day! Not that I had any idea when it was until today :) But since our groom here is from Canada....I had to give our northern friends a little shout out.
I've loved getting to know this couple. It started with our first meeting when I called Jessica by the wrong name....and then had their wedding date wrong...oops. I'm just glad she could see past that and still wanted to hire me!
Some of my all-time favorite photos come from their engagement shoot and Jessica's bridals. What an easy and fun couple to photograph! More to come of the wedding, but here's the beginning of their big day....

Absolutely wonderful shot of the groomsmen!
They could be in GQ magazine.
Very natural and artistic.
Love them and can't wait for the complete set!!!!

Nice pics and congrats to Jessica and Jaime! I'm actually one of the violinists in Mariachi Tamazula, the mariachi that played at the wedding. Thanks for the compliments! We play quite a few weddings, and I have to say they were probably one of my favorite couples to see. Lots of love there!
(07.12.10 @ 10:25 AM)Cat, I just wanted to thank you again for the amazing photos. They will be cherished forever. You're the BEST!
