I just love getting to hang out with seniors. It makes me feel young again, yet so old at the same time. I remember that summer between high school and college when you can't really figure out where you are. Not in high school anymore.....but haven't "gone off" yet. It's fun and care free and weird all at the same time. And I love talking to these seniors about their plans and their future. It's such a fun time in life....kinda wish I could re-live it again. Ok maybe not at all....but it was fun.
Katie and I had a great time wandering around, climbing some rocks, and playing downtown. There seems to be a lot of exploring in random locations with the seniors. But that's part of what makes it so fun. And Katie was totally willing to just trust me and go with the flow. She's just such a sweet girl and also naturally beautiful.

This shoot was awesome. I felt like I was taking pictures of my sister = lots of laughing. Lindsey is just a genuinely happy girl with an awesome smile. It is almost physically impossible for her to NOT smile. I love that! She would try to do a "serious" face and then bust out laughing every single time. I could barely hold it in myself just knowing she was about crack up any second.
She's also a rockstar softball player and was sporting a few battle scars from her latest game. And that's where the bat came in....gotta have the trusty old bat for a few pics.
I loved hanging out with Lindsey and her mom for a few hours. I was having so much fun I even lost track of time and left my poor husband to fend for himself with the two munchkins during the roughest time of day at our house...oops! But it was well worth it for one of my favorite senior shoots.

It's so much fun meeting new people....one of the perks of this job! Katie is sweet, beautiful, and just fun to hang out with. I loved getting to spend my afternoon with her and her mom.
