It was so fun to hang out with Leah and Wes in Waco a few weeks ago! I worked at Camp Buckner in college with Leah where we became close friends in the way that only happens when you wear weird costumes to make kids laugh and endure camp food and lack of sleep for 8 weeks straight!

I’m glad I got to see Leah with Wes who could not be more perfect for her. It was also good to get to know him and see them interact together. They make each other laugh and just seem like they have so much fun!

Today we celebrate our sweet Hallie….our loving, cuddly, and adorable little girl. I love her hugs and the way she looks for any victim to fall for the “Hallie hug”……and then ends up carrying around that dead weight as long as they can stand it. She loves to be held.

Even though she’s already two, she’s still my sweet baby girl. I love the funny words that come out of that mouth and the way she makes faces. Her sense of humor cracks me up with that infectious laugh. She is a rough, tough, and rowdy little girl with the sweetest heart. She’s her brother’s shadow and her sister’s guardian….and has her daddy wrapped right around that chubby little finger. He’s in so much trouble already.

Happy Birthday sweet girl! We are so thankful for you.

Hello romantic February lights. Katie and Kyle have a pretty cute Valentines story. Kyle asked Katie out in 8th grade… fast forward to college and he proposes the day after Valentines Day. They decided to put up with Cat and I for a creative shoot this love-filled month. Enjoy!

We don’t normally do sneak peeks of portraits these days….but a) I couldn’t resist this cute face…and b) I’ve been severely under the weather for a few days and am WAY behind on the blog posts we had planned. Loved every part of this engagement session! MK is my creative friend from college who is always such an inspiration for me in all things fun and pretty. Her fiancé Nate is really perfect for her and I was so glad to get to know him as we all traipsed around Austin finding happy places for photos. MK used to live by the grocery store at the end of this post so some fun pictures were shot there since the couple loves to cook together!
