About a week ago I was asked by a family I'm good friends with to take pictures at a party they were having. Instead of a funeral for their father/grandfather/uncle they had a party to celebrate his passing. I thought it was so cool that in the midst of sadness and grieving, they wanted to all get together and be happy for him no longer being in pain. It was what he wanted.

Some day (hopefully a long time from now) I hope my family celebrates for me...knowing that I am with my king and living it up in heaven. But for now, I'll keeping trying to glorify the Lord each day I'm on this earth, surrounded by the awesome family and friends that I love.

And last, but not least....my own family session for our Christmas card. Cyndea did an awesome job. Travis was not into the picture-taking at all unless he was running free from us or goofing around. I guess those make the best pics anyway.
Travis insisted on feeding me straw/grass/whatever it was...

Gage has become a serious entertainer these days (take after his daddy maybe??) haha

This pic rocks!
I love his curious little face looking around. He sure loves riding in that tractor!
