An afternoon of laughter, dancing, sweet toasts, and good grub. If I didn't know any different, I would have thought every guest there was part of one huge family. That's just how it felt....very laid-back and fun. We even had some good laughs on the golf course with a mini photo shoot. What a fun couple!

Congrats to Breanne and Ryan. I know your marriage will be filled with lots of love and lots of laughing! AWESOME VENDORS:

When I heard Breanne was getting married and they were looking into hiring me to photograph it, I was thrilled with the idea of spending more time with them! Beautiful Breanne and Ryan were married at the GORGEOUS Incarnate Word chapel in San Antonio. And when I say gorgeous, that doesn't even do it justice. The architecture and details were incredible. It made for a beautiful setting for their wedding to take place.

I loved seeing the traditional Catholic ceremony mixed in with lots of laughs and fun personalities. A favorite moment being the high-five between the fathers of the bride and groom. They also had a bagpipe playing after the ceremony, along with kilts worn by the bride's dad and brothers....proudly honoring their heritage.
LOOOOOOVE this picture of the couple. Breanne looks beautiful!
So many fun shots of these two....and many more to share soon! (I know, that's getting kinda old, huh?)
We also have photos from Cynthia and Bobby's wedding featured as well!
Two weddings in one magazine! I'm honored to have photos in there, but really just excited for these couples. So fun!
The reception was held in and around a large barn built just in time for the wedding. The lighting and decor really warmed up the huge metal building and made it the perfect spot for a ranch wedding reception. Tracy and her crew from the French Connection did an awesome job!

A few favorites from the reception:
the bonfire, all the mason jars, the music, and the fact that the
"wedding cake" was homemade pie. It all fit Kristina and Dave very well. What a fun night! AWESOME VENDORS:

The maid of honor provided all of the ceremony music, playing her fiddle as she walked down the aisle. And both bride and groom were walked down by both of their parents. It was a sweet ceremony and I loved seeing the participation of the guests. There was even a mini canon fired at the end (courtesy of the groom's uncle)!

The last part of the wedding day is still to come. All I will say for now.....live band, homemade pie, and a bonfire. How cool is that?!AWESOME VENDORS:

That is one of the coolest things about your wedding day. You get to have all your closest friends and family in one place to celebrate with you. That rocks!

Then off to the highest point on the ranch for more sweet photos and a great view. I love seeing the bride's and groom's faces when they first see each other. It's such a great, emotion-filled time. Whether it's walking down the aisle or just a few minutes alone before all the festivities begin...it's so sweet every time.I loved the way Dave looked at Kristina. You could tell he is crazy about her. I'm pretty sure he never took his eyes off her....but who would? She looked awesome!

They have great friends and family that had me cracking me up the whole day. I don't think I've ever met a funnier group of groomsmen. Let's be honest, most guys dread getting all dressed up and taking a million pictures in a tux. But these guys were awesome....never a single complaint and always ready to do whatever. I was so entertained by them just hanging out together that I would forget I was supposed to be taking pictures. I always like meeting the friends of the couple because it says a lot about them....and it just confirmed my initial thoughts on these two.

Stay tuned for more on the ceremony and reception...AWESOME VENDORS:

So looking forward to more photos. It was a beautiful wedding and evening. MJ aka Mother of Bride, Kristina.
(05.10.10 @ 02:02 AM)Who says the bridal party needs to wear heels? ...especially when you're out at a ranch. This is way more fun!

I loved the cool lighting, fun band, great guests who weren't afraid to get out on that dance floor and bust a move!

ummm...there is no use in me picking out pics for the album! You clearly are the expert! I love, love, love all the pics. My favorites are from the recession. AMAZING! I will look at them whenever I need to smile! Thanks Cat! :D
(04.22.10 @ 12:45 PM)I also loved the bride's dress. She looking awesome that day, and also in her bridals a few months ago. Just gorgeous!
One of my favorite things about this wedding was seeing the beautiful girls and their pretty dresses & flowers set against a natural background (especially with all the wildlife). I love that contrast.

Please tell me you laughed at that ostrich. Every time I see him, I crack up. Those things are just so weird.I was very entertained by these groomsmen as well. They even had me convinced one of the guys was a CIA agent (yes, I'm very gullible). Matt has some funny friends.

Kim told me how they had both been to so many weddings with the traditional long polyester taffeta dress (which is fine). But "it sounded so wonderful to offer modern re-wearable silk cocktail dresses in the colors of the rainbow." Their favorite part about owning this store is being able to offer such an amazing experience to brides and bridesmaids. Through their appointment only scheduling, each bride gets their full attention. "It's a place where we would have loved to have taken our friends....a sparkling little boutique with champagne, beautiful dresses, and brilliant customer service."
They carry various designer lines, including Lulakate, Alix and Kelly, and Amsale. And they aren't limited to just bridesmaid dresses, but also carry flower girl dresses, some informal wedding gowns, and a beautiful selection for mothers of the bride and groom. You can even find some accessories there as well. I already have a bride who found her bridesmaid dresses at Bella for her wedding this fall. I can't wait to see what she picked!

I just love these two girls and wish there store was around when I got married. I would have loved not only having their awesome selection to pick from, but also getting their amazing service and expertise. Check them out and tell them we sent you!5800 Broadway Suite 201

(04.23.10 @ 11:13 AM)Anyway, so super cute couple here was so easy to photograph. They are obviously a gorgeous couple, but also just so easy-going and laid-back. Love that!

And then of course we had to get some photos with Peyton and Parker. Two of the most pleasant and well-behaved kids I've ever met. Seriously, they were great to work with, and you could just tell they are good kids. I must know the secret here....I'd love for my kiddos to turn out like that!

I mean WOW.....look at these two! Martha is going to be a very pretty bride.
Cat - Thank you again!!! I am so lucky I found ya'll!!! Thank you for the great pictures and awesome comments. :)

I'm so thankful for these two and getting to witness this awesome night for them. Their faces said it all....they are crazy about each other. What a special night.
And, of course, more coming in a few weeks.

We even had some cute pics with
Jason's awesome kids. They were sooo good and easy to work with. I
hope my kids turn out like that!
