A perk of being a photographer is getting to make new friends all the time. But when the clients are already friends of yours, it's that much more fun. Then you just get to hang out and laugh at them, I mean with them. Well really, whenever Efren is concerned, I'm usually laughing AT him....let's be honest.
I sure do love cute little Joshua with his big cheeks. He is quite the center of attention with his grandparents and sweet cousins all adoring him. I love pictures with grandparents.....something I cherish!

Mr. Colton decided to take his sweet time (driving poor mama crazy). But the wait was worth it and he was ready. It was an exciting night waiting for him to show up. He had tons of visitors before he even got here! And he (and his parents) were covered in prayer throughout the whole experience. What a way to come into this world!

Winn was so much fun to take pictures of! When the cameras came out he would totally snap into action! He was clapping and laughing throughout most of the session which made it fun and definitely entertaining. It was awesome! Here are some of my favs of the little cutie....

Tripp Joseph Pazera was born on Monday, April 12. There are not many things as amazing and exciting as welcoming a new baby into the world. I feel very blessed to have gotten the opportunity to be there and capture some of these special moments.
What a cute little face! He seriously came out perfect! You know all brand new babies are cute in their own way, but Tripp was born looking like he was a few days old already...adorable!
Brooke and Mike are dear friends and we could not be happier for them. Seeing them with their son is so awesome! What a gift from the Lord! Congrats to the Pazera family.

Finally he's here! First family photo.
The grandparents couldn't have been prouder. It was fun to watch them welcome the first grandchild on both sides of the family.

Seeing him again since I took these
pictures made me realize how much they change in the beginning....and
how fast! He's already much chubbier, and maybe even cuter....if
that's even possible.
Good thing he's such a sweet baby because I've heard that scream and this boy has some pipes! But I think the cuteness makes up for it :)
It's fun watching his parents
experience this new life. I get an (almost) front row seat and I'm
loving it. He's one blessed little baby already with two amazing,
loving parents that will, no doubt, raise him to be a strong Christian
man. And I'm so thankful my kids will get to call Joshua their friend.

What a doll. And she looks JUST like her mama. I'm really looking forward to the next set of pics we do in a few more months. I love getting to follow babies as they grow so fast in that first year. It's crazy how much they change and so fun to document the different stages.

There is something incredibly special about capturing a new life. However, it becomes even more special when that new life is related to you. I loved taking pictures of Hallie's first few moments of life and being able to see and capture the JOY on all the faces of her new family.

Hello world! Family picture, minus Travis.
I think Daddy pictures are my very favorite! It's especially cool to see a Daddy holding his little girl. I wonder what is going through Dave's head at this moment; dates, wedding?
Of course the Mommy and baby pictures are awesome too!
CeCe and Tiger holding their granddaughter. They are probably relieved to get a girl after dealing with the crazy boys for two years.
Berger and Sitte finally get a granddaughter too. Now they have a girl to add to the three grandsons that they have.
Travis wanted to touch her so badly! However, after about two minutes of looking at her he was back to exploring the hospital room and climbing all over the bed. Typical boy! :)
You gotta have the feet picture. They are just too cute and little not to capture!
Being there with Cat made me so ready for my little one that is coming in May. It was such an exciting and special time for everyone. Congrats to Cat and Dave on their new daughter!

I made this album for some of Miss Annabelle's grandparents. I LOVE the way it turned out....so sweet! It is actually the same album as one of the two different wedding albums we include in some of the wedding packages. It comes in several different colors with custom monogramming on the front.
I am a huge fan of the construction of these albums. The quality is worth every penny!
And the lay-flat pages are an absolute must in an album. All of our albums have this feature and it makes viewing the pages much easier.
The pages are very substantial and thick. But they are actually a little deceiving. They have a lot of flexibility to them but cannot accidentally be bent or creased in any way. They also have a protective UV coating. If you spill something on it, no worries....just wipe it off.
I have the same type of pages in my own wedding album and LOVE it.
Eventually I will post some more wedding album photos, but I just wanted to share this sweet album that can be made for any occasion. Babies are just a perfect reason to make an album!

I met this sweet little girl while she and her parents were in town visiting family. I'm so glad we were able to squeeze in a quick shoot before they had to leave. I just loved getting to watch her interact with her daddy....always such a sweet thing to see.

What a treat to be able to photograph another sweet baby of our close friends. Seeing all these little babies lately is REALLY making me anxious for February! I'm totally back in baby mode now. And it has been a nice break between senior and engagement sessions. There is something really cool about photographing newborns. They are just so sweet and innocent....makes me want to put down my camera and pick up the baby instead.

I just can't get enough of this girl. She is stunning.....absolutely beautiful baby. I really had a hard time narrowing down my favorites. There are so many great ones and many taken with special things like here mama's own baby gown, a bracelet from a grandmother, a blanket made by a great-grandmother, her big "bro" Kingston...just love them all!

Another WAY past due blog post....
This was my THIRD time to photograph this awesome little boy. I got to capture him at 12 days, at 6 months, and at 1 year. And each time he gets cuter and cuter. I love getting to see them grow up...so fun to watch.
His facial expressions were cracking me up the whole time. So serious
and determined, and then all of the sudden he would bust out a huge
smile. And I loved the tux from the grandparents....so cute :)
I love that little personality! Thanks, Mom, for letting me hang out with y'all for the morning...I had a blast!
