We have officially made our first debut in a magazine. The recent wedding of Kristina & Dave (see part 1, part 2, part 3 on the blog) was shown in the latest issue of San Antonio Weddings magazine! How cool is that? And I feel like I know celebrities now :)
We also have photos from Cynthia and Bobby's wedding featured as well!

Two weddings in one magazine! I'm honored to have photos in there, but really just excited for these couples. So fun!

I loved this whole wedding. It had a great mix of natural beauty, fun people, a laid-back atmosphere, and well, love! From the first sight, to the ceremony, to toasts and first dances....it was very cool.
The reception was held in and around a large barn built just in time for the wedding. The lighting and decor really warmed up the huge metal building and made it the perfect spot for a ranch wedding reception. Tracy and her crew from the French Connection did an awesome job!

A few favorites from the reception:
the bonfire, all the mason jars, the music, and the fact that the
"wedding cake" was homemade pie. It all fit Kristina and Dave very well. What a fun night!

The ceremony took place at the water's edge, on a dock built just for this special day. The view was perfect, the weather just right, and the occasion memorable.
The maid of honor provided all of the ceremony music, playing her fiddle as she walked down the aisle. And both bride and groom were walked down by both of their parents. It was a sweet ceremony and I loved seeing the participation of the guests. There was even a mini canon fired at the end (courtesy of the groom's uncle)!

The last part of the wedding day is still to come. All I will say for now.....live band, homemade pie, and a bonfire. How cool is that?!

I love that this couple got married on the groom's family's ranch. It made it so much more personal and relaxed. When I showed up, I was almost thrown off a little by how calm and laid-back everyone was. The family and close friends were all hanging out around the house and on the porch just having a good time and enjoying quality time together. No one was rushing or scurrying around to finish last minute details. They were all so chill!
That is one of the coolest things about your wedding day. You get to have all your closest friends and family in one place to celebrate with you. That rocks!

Then off to the highest point on the ranch for more sweet photos and a great view. I love seeing the bride's and groom's faces when they first see each other. It's such a great, emotion-filled time. Whether it's walking down the aisle or just a few minutes alone before all the festivities begin...it's so sweet every time.
I loved the way Dave looked at Kristina. You could tell he is crazy about her. I'm pretty sure he never took his eyes off her....but who would? She looked awesome!

We could not have asked for a prettier day for this wedding. Check out the blue sky...
Even when the sun went down, the ambiance at the reception was just perfect.
Lots of fun photos to come with cool lighting and a sweet bonfire!
