It’s that time of year again, so we are re-posting a favorite:

Anyone who knows San Antonio, has heard of Fiesta.  It’s 11 days of celebration in honor of Texas’ Independence.  There are parades, parties, and cascarones galore.  And the food is awesome.  It is a REALLY fun time of year to live in this city!

Since this is one of the most anticipated series of events all year (that we LOVE….have I mentioned that?), we decided to do a Fiesta-inspired shoot.

In honor of FINALLY getting colder weather…fun hats and cute kids!  We did an impromptu “hats shoot” one afternoon at Sweet Marley’s in Fredericksburg, TX. I have, for some reason, many random hats for my kids to wear in the cooler Fredericksburg weather. Mine, coupled with Crystal Bedford’s hats, made for some cute-headed kiddos. We gathered some friends and had a little mini shoot with the kids sportin’ their favorite headwear.

Summer is coming to an end, sadly.  Some schools have already started and people are finishing up their end of the summer activities.  We want to say goodbye to summer with a fun Styled Shoot at the pool.  What says summer days more than an afternoon at the pool soaking in that sun.  Thanks to the lovely Faith and Blake Stouffer for being our awesome models.  The very talented Sarah Halbach styled this shoot with her creative design ideas and fun props.  As sad as it is that summer is almost over, the great thing about Texas is that you can enjoy the “pool weather” for much longer :).

We had an awesome shoot yesterday that we’re so excited about.  Watch out y’all….we’ve got some fun stuff coming up!

Hello romantic February lights. Katie and Kyle have a pretty cute Valentines story. Kyle asked Katie out in 8th grade… fast forward to college and he proposes the day after Valentines Day. They decided to put up with Cat and I for a creative shoot this love-filled month. Enjoy!
