Brides from all over reviewed their wedding vendors from last year, and we were voted a Best of Weddings Pick in Austin!

Really, we owe it to our awesome brides (and grooms!) who had such great things to say about us.  I think I should print out all the reviews and hang them around my desk for daily encouragement.

Our clients rock. Period.

Ok so this isn’t all that “new” really….considering it has been on the website for about a month now.  But if you only check the blog, you’ve just recently seen it on a few posts.  Eventually I will update the blog as well…just need to get a few more things in order first.  My advice: never make a bunch of decisions for your business when you are in your first trimester of pregnancy.  I was a crazy person last summer and I’m not sure what I was thinking with a few things….haha.  Live and learn, I guess.

Anyway, earlier this year when I decided I needed an update.  So let me know what y’all think about it (the yellow is not part of the logo)…

It’s been awhile…..2 whole days.  Blog posts have been lacking (as well as my productivity) the past week.  But we’re still here and trying to continue sharing cool stuff each day (or close to it).  I just didn’t realize completely changing my workflow would be so time-consuming!  And I also didn’t realize I left some files for today’s original post in Austin…oops.

Sorry for the let down, but the contest will now be announced on Valentine’s Day.  A massive chest cold has kept me from doing anything besides just surviving the day.

Funny how this is only cute when you’re 1.  I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t be so cute if it happened to me!

With the new year comes the unveiling of some new stuff………..but not today :)  It will show up over the next few weeks.  There is too much from “last semester” (yes, I still think in semesters) and I don’t want the sneak peeks and bridals to have to wait any longer. 

I’m so thankful I was able to take the time off and really focus my time and energy 100% on my family.  I LOVED IT!

But now I get to hit the ground running once again with fun stuff coming up.  Somehow January has turned into “wedding month” for us.  A wedding next weekend, and tons of bridals and engagements….so fun!  I just hope this baby doesn’t decide to make an appearance too early….yikes. 

Be looking for new vendors and other cool resources for brides, as well as a few cool things we’re FINALLY going to be including on the blog.  

Also, a few other minor changes will be going into effect as well….but it will all come in time.  One exciting change is that I no longer have to meet clients in coffee shops around town.  Now you all get to come to ME………in my office!  Can I get a Hallelujah? 

Get ready for a fun month to kick off 2010!
 

Officially Day 2 of the new blog.  Just wanted to do a little intro post about what is to come.  We may still have a few background glitches here and there, but we’re SO excited to have a fresh, totally unique look to the blog!  The awesome folks at Into the Darkroom designed this for us.  Not only are they great to work with, but have great ideas of their own.  We’re so pleased with the result and excited about what’s happening over the next few weeks.

We’ve got wedding photos, several bridal portraits, babies, families, engagements…all coming over the next few weeks.  We’re so ready to finally get to blog about all of these (since most took place even up to 6 weeks ago)!  And then more new stuff will be coming along at the same time.  We will even debut 2 fun projects we’ve been working on this summer.  One little project, and one bigger….funnier….”project”.  Well, we’ll see about how “funny” it is.  I just know I’ll be laughing pretty hard.

Enough of the suspense….they will come in time.  Just keep checking back in (Monday thru Friday) for daily updates and recent work.  We like to take weekends off around here.  I mean, being a mom you don’t really get weekends off EVER…………..it’s the little things.

And be looking for more on Christmas sessions coming up next week.  We’ve already booked several dates even though we haven’t officially announced that we’re booking yet (some of y’all are eager to get this planned….I love it).  We will be scheduling these during October and early November.  So get out your calendars and get ready to claim your date!!

Also, Cyndea will be blogging on here as well.  So y’all will be hearing more from the other side of Peacock Photography……yea!
