I met (Aunt) Hallie in line at Little League softball tryouts when we were nine.  We found out our birthdays were just 1 day apart....and when you're nine, you think that's really cool.  But we didn't really become good friends until 6th grade (after we first hated each other).  It's funny how things work when you're twelve.  We ended up being really close throughout the rest of middle school and have stayed friends ever since.   She is definitely my cool friend who has traveled all over the world and can speak multiple languages.  And she also loves my kids to the point of possibly kidnapping them.

It was a huge bummer when she moved away just days before baby Hallie was born.  But a few weeks ago we had a fun visit from her for a few days.  And of course I took some pictures of my two favorite Hallies finally together.

And even though Aunt Hallie and I are so different in so many ways :) I know our friendship will never change......especially now that I have cute kiddos she has to visit all the time.

And I'm hoping this post just might make her move back....
