If you've ever had a great dane, you can relate.....they think they are humans.  Our two spoiled dogs sleep on a twin-size mattress.  No joke.  It was actually bought at a mattress store and sits on the ground next to our son's bed.

But for some reason, last night Mac decided that mattress wasn't good enough and decided to CLIMB INTO BED WITH OUR TODDLER.  He even managed to get around the toddler rails.  A little background here.....he hates when Travis climbs onto his bed when he's trying to sleep and usually gets up immediately to go into another room to a different bed.  Yes, they have multiple beds.

I'm not sure why I felt the need to check the video monitor at 3:40am....but when I did, I thought I was seeing things.  Mac was curled up next to Trav and sound asleep.  So asleep that I was able to sneak into the room before he heard me coming and snapped a few pics.  It was pitch black in the whole house so I barely even knew where to aim the camera...

And Trav never even stirred.

THEN, about an hour later I still hadn't fallen asleep and checked the monitor again.  Yep, Mac was right back on the bed.  But this time he was curled up even closer and had his head resting on Travis' back.  ADORABLE.  Unfortunately he took off before I could get a picture.

Gotta love danes.
