because you find stuff like this in the bath tub....
I was trying to explain to a friend (without kids) last night about how boys just have something different in them that makes them instinctively drawn to "boy stuff" and being rowdy. Nobody taught my son to look underneath cars/tractors/anything mechanical to see how they work and what's going on inside. And we never showed him how to hold his cap gun and make shooting noises (I mean, he's not even 2 yet!). Where do they get this stuff? Oh wait, that must be the Dukes of Hazzard....thanks Dave.
The other day, Travis was pretending to shoot one of our dogs....and I have to say I totally laughed. Of course we will teach him the importance of gun safety and all that before he ever has his own real gun (yes, my son will probably have lots of guns....we're in Texas, we hunt, that's life for us). But it's just so funny how they pick up on this stuff. He LOVES to destroy things too. Loves to knock stuff down, make a mess, and "drive" his cars off the side of the table just to watch them crash on the floor...over and over again. Such entertainment!
Anyway, this post was really just going to be a short one with the pic that made me laugh this morning. Who takes their gun into the bathtub? :)
Off to a day of preparation for the big move later this week. Spacious new office here I come!!!!
p.s...Christmas sessions and card orders are finished.....woohoo! Time to celebrate (by cleaning and organizing my life)!
